foggy moon
cold keeps us indoors, but
I braved the cold
I braved the cold
with my new wool red hat
dodged the cold
dodged the cold
fearless stride with studded boots
got me home safely

Indeed, we have had record cold weather for this time of year…we usually see this in January but, oh well. I feel for the homeless people who stay warm malls, stores and metros here but have to brave the cold in the night.

In such a cold places, the city counsels should leave at least the metros ope for the homeless!

You are right…they are open from 5am. to 1:15am. however; we have our first snowstorm since last night…still snowing today but that means milder temps. It never fails each year I have had an office Christmas party we always have a snowstorm. Thankfully I am not going out today, snug at home.

Sounds pretty cold … here they’ve predicted snow at 300 meters .. the air though is so cold it feels like we could have some dumped on us at any moment … as usual it came all at once. On Monday the temps were still in their high teens (centigrade) on Tuesday everyone was shivering like poor wet kittens grabbing for the extra sweater to keep warm.

Ahh, those studded boots–and a red hat, how lovely! As is the poem–this form intrigues me so.

I made it home safely …those studs actually work!! and the hat well, I did have a cagoule on under to keep me warm and tonight I kept them on to keep me dry…lots of wet snow but it is milder…just our first snow storm.
