At Carpe Diem Sparkling Stars, our inspirational haiku by Shiki:
when I looked back,
the man who passed
was lost in the mist © Masaoka Shiki
wakeful moments
just mistaken reveries
rolling into days
day after day
lost in a sea of fog
life is messy
old woman
chips away at what was home
lost in whiteout
© Tournesol `15
Wow, that last picture with the words put within the frame of the picture itself. That was powerful. I probably wouldn’t have noticed the image in the waaaay back if those words weren’t there. They made me look again.

Thank you, Paloma, you probably understand all too well when I tell you I spent triple amount of time on that photo than the entire series 🙂

The lost in whiteout works so well with that image.

The image was done with thoughts of being lost…like an old woman who lost her memory. I’m enjoying playing with haiku inside the image.
