winters spent
making fun outdoors,
taste anew indoors
winters spent
under the first full moon
skating on the lake
making fun outdoors
skiing and tobogganing
giant snow angels
taste anew indoors

Still sounds so much better than any winter I’ve lived! Maybe I need to take up sake drinking 😉

Skating, skiing, sledding, making snowmen and snow angels are quite common when we have snow 😉 I guess most youth go snowboarding now.

Probably, I haven’t done any of those things in years! Last winter I worked and shoveled snow 😦

yes you do! There’s a blizzard bearing down on me tomorrow/Sunday. Maybe after shoveling I’ll get to make some snow angels! 🙂 If I don’t collapse from shoveling into a heap first 🙂

Check out the sales for snow blowers; my son got one two years ago; his driveway has room for 5 cars so he got fed of shoveling.

I live in a development and they plow the driveways. I just have to shovel my car out so I can move it from its space. Otherwise I would already have a snow blower.

Oh well now then you are blessed; I felt so bad when I got home at midnight two nights ago with 2 cars parked on the street while the owners had to shovel a space to drive in since the city plough had made a heavy three foot snow bank in their spots. Boy do I remember that and do not miss it.

We put cardboard on the windshield and lift our wipers because we get so many ice storms…but the cardboard will save you work.

oh now that’s a good idea! I lifted my wipers so they’d not be frozen to the glass and backed into my assigned space.

so you can just rest the wipers on the cardboard
