Silence (haiku- senryu)

 last fallen leaf
limbs freeze in time
– silence
~
after serenades
wolf greets winter moon,
– silence
~
after the rage
kissing fists and leather belts
screams silence
~
sibling rivalry
birthdays and barbecues
empty nest

Carp Diem Inviting Silence

  1. Enjoyed the second one very much! A man’s haiku for me…the second…well…rage in people always worries me, or terrifies me! I have met people who enjoy that powerful, urgent moment of kissing fists, but I much prefer without the rage first, and not sure about the leather belts! – but of course am being naughty…really liked all, from first to last.

    • Yes, well, we agree then…the first two are my favs but then I got on a roll of moments of silence anytime in a person’s life. Your thoughts on leather belts were a few shades of grey 😉
