summer fun (haiku)

Inspired by Patricia Donegan’s haiku:

As rain drops diminish
I hear the tapping
of the monk’s wooden bell. © Patricia Donegan

after the downpour
swallows bathe in pools
of rainwater


the cypress tree & I
lean into the wind. © Patricia Donegan

sailboat hastens
tall white sail tautens
wind at her back

      1. For sailing it’s the best time of year here too … though the weather has been off for the last couple of day …


      2. I think we follow the same weather lately…and today is a scorcher with too much humidity . I am sure the ragweed is pleased and my allergies not so pleased.
