old rocking chair
sun streaked window
softness of her coat

old rocking chair
groaning and whining
same old tune

sun streaked window
melting icicles
like her cheeks

softness of her coat
companionship
embraced

  1. Very interesting, first time I have seen how a troiku poem is written. I like it, must try writing one myself. Wouldn’t it be nice to be a cat, nice photo.
    Have a great weekend.

This troiku is a lovely tribute to your sweet kitty. I do miss our Charley who would wake me by preening my hair! He slept with me when Gene was working the night shift for so many years….

    1. I had a BIG ginger cat named Charley too in the early 70`s…I would rock him every night before going to bed. Getting pregnant was taking a bit longer than anticipated…so he was my baby:)
