echoes of thunder in their sleep
deceived by nations
on alert for their children
skipping on a hidden shell

Thanks. I had a halibun written (a paragraph before the poem ) but thought people can read between the lines. Have a good week. We are in the midst of a blizzard right now. I am sure my son’s students are praying for a snow day 🙂
