amber leaves
on my balcony
colour my world
amber leaves
on a muddy path
turn to mulch
on my balcony
last butterfly
says goodbye
colour my world
one leaf pressed
in my journal

I really like this form and love how you captured moments in the journey of leaves in the changing of seasons.

Aside from the haibun and haiku, I think the Troiku is my favourite form; a lovely haiku form created by Chevreveuille at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai http://chevrefeuillescarpediem.blogspot.ca/p/troiku-new-form-of-haiku.html

Thanks Janice. It seems odd to see these leaves in our unusually hot weather at 31C today (about 87F) everyone was inside…parks are empty…we are so not used to this heat 🙂
