She frowns at her sunlit streaked window from a long winter’s grime. Stepping outside she feels the sun’s glow but, still too cool to make the windows squeal like giddy children.
In the meantime, she has plenty of work to do inside. She grabs a broom and eyes the corners of the ceiling in each room. The thought of uninvited guests make her want to scratch.
The front entrance is the next move. She unlocks the door and peaks to see if a neighbour is in the hallway before she steps out in her tattered old hoodie and black leggings.

It is not too smart to do that because someone might step on it or throw it in the garbage rather than outside.

Spiders like to gaze at you with their eight eyes and engage in jedi mind tricks to make you not see them. They don’t always succeed 😉

Oh my cellar is like this. I have to spring clean it is starting to feel like Shelob’s lair down there. It makes my skin creep.

Haha, there are many spider webs that accumulate in my apartment as there are many dark corners…also we seem to house many…that’s a fact. I keep telling my grandson to leave them be as they are getting rid of other undesirables:)

Mostly in the cold of my cellar they freeze leaving only their webs.
